The very next day after we went to the Museum, we drove back to Waco to visit the Cameron Park Zoo! The zoo opened at 9:00 a.m., so we made sure we were one of the first ones in before it got too hot. It actually was an overcast morning, so it really didn't feel that bad (for July!!) It also wasn't crowded and every single animal was out for us to see! It is a smaller zoo, but I thought it was a GREAT one for the kids! They have a lot of indoor exhibits as well, so we could cool off if we needed to. Towards the end of our visit, the kids were starting to get hot and cranky. So, we quickly headed over to the cute splash park, that they had in the middle of the zoo! It really lifted their spirits and immediately put them in a fantastic mood!! And, made them nice and tired for the ride home!!

The boys are starting to look so much alike, that I had to stare and stare at that slide picture (and the one underneath it) to figure out who was who. I'm still not sure I know!? They are getting so big, so blonde, and are still SO cute!! (p.s. you look about 17 in that first pic w/ all of the kids!) :)
We were all soooo hot. Too bad there wasn't a splash pool for us too. That is such a neat zoo. Mom

that looks like thay have had fun and i remimber when i went with the boy and spencer could not enjoy it as much as he did this time because he was to little,spencer and all the kids really liked it
(or at lest it looked like it!!)
