"A Day at the Museum"

I knew while we were visiting my parents, I wanted to take all of the kids to the Mayborn Children's Museum on the Baylor University campus. My parents only live 45 minutes south of Waco, so I thought it would be the perfect time to go. One of my friends on Facebook posted pictures of her children at this museum and it looked like so much FUN!! Since we were trying to find activities inside (to stay out of the HEAT,) this was a excellent outing for all of us! Let me just start off by saying, that this was the BEST children's museum I have been to in Texas!! It has 17 different themed rooms for kids of all ages! We had four kids with us, ages 1 to 11 and they all had a blast!! The rooms ranged from dramatic play to science, social studies and music. We spent a good 2 1/2 hours in there and still didn't get to see everything. We kind of felt like we were rushing the kids from room to room, to discover all they had to offer. But, I think I would like to go back another time and let the kids really play longer in the rooms that they enjoyed the most!! It was really a awesome experience for them and I highly recommend stopping by if you are ever in the Waco area!! I promise you won't be disappointed!! :)
