Baby Girl

Yesterday was our big Sono day! I am always a little nervous before a Sono because I worry about how the baby is developing and if he/she is healthy. Well, this time around I was REALLY anxious about finding out the gender too. I LOVE having boys and am grateful I had two of them because their relationship is like no other. And, I would have felt blessed to have three little boys running around my house too. But, knowing this was my last pregnancy, I was really hoping to have a baby girl. I have always wanted a girl, not only because you can buy all the cute stuff, but for the relationship between a mother/daughter like my mom and I have. So, when we got our wonderful news yesterday that our baby was a healthy little girl, I couldn't have been more THRILLED!! And, I kind of had a feeling from around 12 weeks that it was a girl, but of course I didn't want to get my hopes up. It is funny because I had the same feeling when I was pregnant with Spencer that he was a boy, around the same exact time. Spencer and this baby's name even popped into my head early on in both pregnancy's and I knew that is what I wanted to name them. Now, we aren't ready to share the name yet for two reasons. 1. Stephen doesn't like to rush into anything and wants to think on it a little more. 2. I really am not certain of the middle name yet. I really want to use a family name from my side, since the boys have family/significant middle names from Stephen's side. But, as soon as we have it all nailed down, I will let you know! :) (I am really not the type who likes to wait until I give birth to name the baby!) Anyway, just wanted to share some pictures of our sweet little princess! We feel so blessed and I thank God everyday for my boys and her! We can't wait to meet her in May and pray that the rest of my pregnany goes well! God is SO Good!! She looks so sweet and snuggly in there!! :)

Sucking her little fingers! Love her already!

What a sweet little thing you are. It's amazing how you can see her hands and legs and head so well. She looks happy and warm - grow big and strong little one and we'll wait patiently until the day you arrive. Love you so much and can't wait to buy something PINK!
