8 Month Milestones :)

Happy 8 Months Baby Spence!

8 milestones from this month:

1. His two front teeth have come in.
2. He is up on all fours and almost ready to crawl. Although he can scoot/swim all over the living room floor on his belly! :)
3. He started to say "da da." We practice "ma ma" a lot, but we haven't quite mastered that sound yet!
4. Learned how to feed himself baby "puffs."
5. Started eating table food this week!! He has been really good with stage 3 baby food and his puffs the last few weeks. Nothing we put in his mouth seems to gag or choke him. My babysitter said she thought he was ready for table food also. Things he has eaten this week include: spaghetti & meatballs, cut green beans, peaches, apples (warm), fish nuggets, biscuit, banana and corn. I almost fell over when she said he ate spaghetti and nuggets. But, I have witnessed it myself and the boy can gum that food. We cut it into small pieces and he just loves it!! I don't know if he will take baby food jars now that he has tasted the sweet life! :) (This just amazes me because I didn't even think of starting Logan on table food until closer to a year old and he hated it!)
6. Loves to clap his hands in excitement!
7. Has a blast jumping in his Jumparoo!
8. And, my all time favorite.........LOVES to give BIG hugs!! (He loves to snuggle and will lay his head on our shoulder and just squeeze us!) Such a sweetie pie!!

We love you little man!!
