This past Friday we started getting our Christmas stuff out of the attic and started decorating our house. It has been a really fun process this year because Logan really understands Christmas this year and even helped me put up decorations. He didn't quite understand how to hook the ornaments on the tree, but he loved getting them out of the boxes and handing them to me. He also liked putting up our initial Stockings and telling me who they belonged to. It is cute because he will point to the L and say "L for Logan, S for Pencer," etc. :) And, of course he is so excited about Santa coming to his house! :) Also, this Christmas is ALOT easier with Spencer since he isn't crawling yet. Logan was 10 months old on his first Christmas and was into EVERYTHING, but Spencer just sits there and looks at it all. Which is great with me, but I have a feeling he will be crawling by the end of the month!! Hopefully our decorations will be up by then! :)
Anyway, I just love this time of the year and everything that it brings. I love being on the couch at night, while are tree is shining bright. I love seeing my boys in their Christmas PJ's. I love the hustle and bustle of buying gifts. I love going and doing fun holiday stuff. I love teaching my son about Jesus's birthday. I love Santa and everything magical that Christmas brings. And, I love seeing the excitement in my little boys eyes as they discover new things. It is all so much fun and it truly is the "most wonderful time of the year!"

How fun. Little ones make the holidays. I have my tree up and the lights on it - what a week I'll have trying to get it all up.
Wish I had your helpers. Mom
What sweet boys to help Mom decorate the tree.Logan, I remember lots of Christmas trees being decorated when your mom was small and Christmastime was so exciting to her and some neighbor girls I know!!
I love looking at the pictures of the boys. It seems your house is a lot like mine these days! Miss you!!
