Meeting Santa

While in Cloudcroft, we had the opportunity to visit Santa's Village. It was really a magical place to see him being surrounded by the mountains. It was very quaint and the weather that night felt like we were in the middle of the North Pole, (a snow storm blew in minutes after we left.) Before Santa arrived, we roasted marshmellow and sang a few Christmas carols. This was a big event for the town and it seemed like everyone was out there for the night, (which was only like 100 people.) We actually arrived about 10 minutes before Mr. and Mrs. Claus showed up and "surprisingly" we were the first in line (you have to remember my dad was with us.) :) I don't know if the line of hundred people were excited about that, but Santa did spot Spencer first and called us on up! :) You will see below that Spencer and Logan had a MUCH different perspective of the big guy in the red suit and I captured it perfectly!! Maybe if my dad hadn't of thrown Spencer at Santa and let him warm up a bit, he might have done a lot better! Of course you will see that Logan loved his new friend and could have sat on his lap all night! But, we couldn't let the line of people wait any longer, so Logan hopped off Santa's lap, got a cookie from Mrs. Claus and we called it a night. It was really a fun start to our Holiday season! Ho! Ho! Ho!
