Mi Casita with Lindsay

I was so excited last night to get to see one of my best friends and college roommates Lindsay. Lindsay and I met freshman year in the dorms and then lived together in some apartments the next three years. We had so many good times and lots of fun memories here in Denton! Lindsay only lives a couple of hours away and even though we don't see each other often, it is like old times when we are back together. She is now a high school teacher/cheerleading coach and she was in town with her squad. She could only sneak away for a couple of hours and we decided to meet up at one of our favorite Mexican food dives Mi Casita, (we seriously ate there EVERYDAY in college after we got out of class.!!) :) Also, Lindsay has never met my boys before, so it was neat to get to introduce them to her. It was funny because they warmed up to her RIGHT away!! I don't know if they thought she was family or what, but they loved her!! Spencer let Lindsay hold him and didn't want her to put him down, (Spencer usually doesn't like anybody but mama or daddy to hold him!) It was very sweet!! Logan on the other hand wasn't shy, but wasn't on his best behavior either (shocking!!) Let's just say that our dinner wasn't as laid back and relaxing as they used to be!! :) But, Lindsay didn't mind the craziness of the boys and was actually a great sport about it (she is going to be a great mama one day!!) We certainly had LOTS of good laughs and conversation as usual and it was sad to have to say goodbye! But, she had to get back to her girls and we had to try and make it home before the tornado hit our house! Thanks Lindsay for such a great dinner and calling to check on us after! ;) We love you and can't wait until our next visit, which we hope is SOON!! :)
