My Sons

"Sticky fingers, dirty face, rugs and pillows out of place. Cars and tractors here and there, blocks and boats everywhere! Gold and silver have I none, but worth a million is my Sons."

I have to start off by saying I feel SO blessed to be a mommy, to two of the most precious little boys in the world! Since a little girl I have always known I wanted to be a mommy, but I never envisioned having little boys! But, God had a better plan for me and gave me just what I needed! My boys are so different, yet so much alike! I enjoy spending all my time with them and watching them grow! They bring so much happiness and joy to my life and before I had them I never knew I could love this much!! Being a mommy truly is one of the hardest jobs I have ever done, but the most REWARDING! I heard a quote the other day about raising kids and it said "the days go by long, but the years go by short!" It is just a reminder to me that even when I am having a rough day with my kids, I still need to enjoy every minute of it. Everybody says, you will blink and they will be all grown up. It is hard for me to believe looking at my sweet little angels now! Part of me wants them to stay this little forever, but the other part knows it won't happen. So, I will choose to cherish every moment, including the hard times because I know it won't last long! :)
I had a wonderful Mother's Day filled with church, lunch out, a 90 minute massage, shopping, playing outside with my boys and eating a delicious dinner prepared by my sweet husband, (who by the way is an amazing husband and allows me to be the mother that I have always wanted to be! I love you Stephen!) It was just the perfect day!!!!
