How Great is our God!

I love Easter and everything that it brings. I enjoy all of the fun kid stuff we get to do this time of year, (including taking bunny pictures with the boys.) I love the Easter bunny coming to visit and watching the boys have egg hunts. But, most of all I love this time of year because it is a reminder that my Savior died on the cross for me. I thank God every day for the ultimate sacrifice he made not only for me, but for all of us. It overwhelms me when I think about all the Love, Grace and Forgiveness he gives me everyday! Whenever I get down or in a tough situation, I think about all Jesus went through. And, this is the reason I can live with such Joy and Forgiveness in my life. He is such an amazing and awesome Father! I got the Resurrection Eggs from a wonderful Christian women, long before I had Logan. I have been waiting to use them, until I felt the boys were ready. I think this year I will start slowly with Logan. I don't know if he will get the whole concept, but I believe it is never too early to teach my kids about Jesus and his love. I heard Dr. James Dobson talking about this very same thing yesterday. He said the more we talk, pray and teach about Jesus to our kids early in their lives, the more intimate of a relationship they will have with Him. They will feel comfortable talking to Him on a daily basis and running to Him in a time of need, (which becomes crucial in their teen years!) I know life gets busy at times, but I always want Jesus to be the center of our hearts and lives. And, I want my boys to truly know their Father! As the saying goes: "As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord!" (I just love this quote!)
