My sister-in-law Alissa (my brothers wife) and my niece Lauren were in town for the weekend visiting her sister Vanessa. Vanessa lives in Dallas with her husband and 11 month old son Ethan. My brother, Alissa and their girls live in San Antonio, so we don't get to see them that often. Most of our visits are at my parents house, since that is half way for all of us. I was really excited to find out that they were going to be in town and that we were invited over to Vance and Vanessa's to visit with everyone! We got to their house a little after 2:00 and stayed until around 7:00. We had a wonderful afternoon of playing, talking, walking around the duck pond and eating delicious fajitas!! My niece Lauren is 2 months older than Logan and they get along GREAT!! They probably see each other 3 or 4 times a year, but they totally LOVE each other. They both were so excited to see each other and have been talking about this visit for weeks!! Once the two of them got together, they were inseparable the whole entire day. Logan even cried when I said it was time to leave "his Lauren," at the end of the night. But, I told him he would see her in a couple of weeks, when my parents bring her up here for Logan's party. It is definitely going to be a treat seeing her two times in one month!! Spencer had a great afternoon as well, playing with all of Ethan's fun toys. It always nice going over to someones house who has kids around the same age as yours. Spencer and Logan were entertained the whole time and had such a blast. Which meant mommy and daddy were very happy!! I could have stayed all night, but the fun was coming to an end for Spencer. He knew it was his bedtime and all he wanted was a bottle and to go night night. He started getting really whining, so we packed up and headed home. It was such a great day, I just wish my brother and my other niece could have been there too! But like I said, it was such a treat to get to at least see Alissa and Lauren. And, it was great visiting with the Roots as well!! Thank you guys for such a fantastic day!! Hope to see you guys again soon!!

It was good to see pictures of Lance's family. I wish I could see pics of them more often too. The last time I saw Lauren she was just a couple of months old, but now look at what a beautiful little girl! Glad you got to visit with them. Love, CD
