Zoo Trip

Since it was such a beautiful January day yesterday, we decided to head to the Dallas Zoo for the afternoon. Both the boys were in great moods, considering we skipped naps to spend the afternoon there. Logan was our little tour guide and would run in front of us to each animal exhibit. He was very adamant on going to see the giraffes first, so there was NO stopping until we saw his favorite animal. Also, Logan and Stephen spent a lot of time in the Reptile exhibit looking at some really BIG snakes. At first Logan was a little scared of the snakes, until Stephen reassured him that they couldn't get him from behind the glass! :) Spencer just loved being outside and didn't mind spending most of his time in the stroller. He truly is such an even-tempered baby and just goes along with the flow. I would take him out to look at the animals, but he liked the tall grass and rocks just as well. It was funny because I would try and get him to look at an animal and instead he would be busy looking at people or the scenery around the animal. I could tell he just loved being out in the fresh air because he couldn't stop smiling all day! :) Such a sweetheart! And, I was glad we got to spend such a gorgeous day outside with each other too!!
