Like Mother, Like Son...

Relaxing in his pj's, playing in his Halloween costume and drinking Starbucks with mommy!! What a Saturday night!! :) (Look how he is really concencentrating on sipping the drink, so he doesn't burn himself again! Such a cutie!!)
One of my favorite winter treats is going to Starbucks. I guess you could say it is a summer treat too, but I get different things depending on the season. I love most anything there, but my first pick is any type of mocha. I drink hot mocha's with whip in the winter and iced or frappucnino mocha's in the hotter months. Well, over Christmas I discovered the new peppermint mocha's with peppermint chocolate chips on top. It was the most delicious thing that I have ever tasted. The girl at Starbuck's told me I could actually order peppermint mocha's all season, but the chocolate chips were for a limited time only. I sure did hit Starbuck's ALOT in December because I was craving this yummy drink. Now, I try not to go as often, since it can get expensive and Stephen fixes coffee at home, (with my french vanilla creamer, delish!!) But, every now and again when it gets really cold outside or when my friend MB calls me, I will head to Starbucks. The other day, I had the boys with me in the car when I had one of my cravings and of course Logan wanted something too. He doesn't really like hot things too much, but I ordered him a hot chocolate anyway. I kept telling him to sip the drink and that it was hot, but he didn't listen to me. He turned that drink upside down, like he was drinking milk from a sippy cup!! Poor thing burned his mouth and face, but didn't care because it tasted SO good. I asked him if he wanted to wait until it cooled down, but he wasn't going to hand over his tasty treat. After a few more tries, he got the hang of "sipping" his hot cocoa and loved every minute of it. Now, when we are out, he will ask if I want coffee, so he can go get a drink too!! I think he might be a little young to get addicted to Starbucks! It might be time to introduce him to good old Swiss Miss!!

Oh my goodness - Logan and Lauren and Starbucks!! I can't believe my two 3 year olds love that place.
Raia too for that matter.

I think they put "something" in those drinks at Starbucks to make them so addictive! Megan and Lauren love them too. Now that I know they have hot chocolate there, I may just have to run by one day in Temple. Ha! Great pics.
