Winter Play

Since it has been so cold this weekend, we spent most of our time inside the house. It was pretty cool today too, but the sun was out and it wasn't windy. I was starting to get cabin fever and wanted to get out , so I loaded the boys up and we headed to the park. It was fun because it was Spencer's first trip to the park, since he was a tiny baby. He could actually swing this time without his head bobbing everywhere and he loved crawling through the equipment with his brother. Logan's favorite part of the park is the creek that runs through it. He loves to throw rocks in the water and pretends to fish with a stick, (he is such a boy!) :) We spent about an hour out there and had a great time, until it was time to leave. Logan got a little too excited with his stick and poked poor Spencer in the eye. It was really bad and it scared me to death!! Spencer was screaming bloody murder and wouldn't open his eye for like 10 minutes. And, when he did it was bright red! I have been watching it over the night and it seems to be getting better. Thank goodness, because it could have been really bad! I guess second children have to learn to be a little tougher, with older siblings around!! Spencer sure is a little trooper!! :)
