School Christmas Party

Playing Christmas Jingo is so much fun! They covered their spots with M&M's and when they got Jingo, they got to eat them. As you can see Logan ate his all up! :)

Mommy and Logan eating Christmas treats! :)
"I can do it all by myself mom!"
"Can I get a cookie?"
"Look daddy, I ate all my M&M's!"
Playing puzzles with his friends.
Waiting for Santa!! Look how exited Logan's face is?!
I don't know if Logan was more excited about Santa or the candycanes! :)
Logan started at Flower Mound Montessori school in mid November. Things weren't working out at his last daycare, so I decided to move him. Transitions are always hard on Logan, but he has been doing really well at his new school. It is a fabulous program and he is learning so much! Well, on Wednesday he had his first class party there. Since I am a teacher, I know how important it is to the kids when their parents show up to the parties. And, I didn't want to miss it and have him upset that we weren't there. So, Stephen and I both took a half day off to attend his party. At the party the kids played Christmas Jingo, had a visit with Santa and ate lots of goodies. The kids even made us a cute Reindeer pot with candy in it, for our Christmas gift. The pot was very special because the antlers were made from Logan's little hands. Now, I understand why my parents always kept my old stuff. You truly cherish the stuff that your little ones make for you. I am always the teacher at the parties, so it was neat to be the parent this time around. After the party was over, I decided to take Logan home with me. The teacher and I thought that might be best because he wouldn't understand me showing up and then leaving again. So, Logan and I finished up some Christmas shopping for daddy and went home to take a nap. It was definitely a very special Logan and mommy day!
