This past weekend we met our friends Brad and Kat out for dinner in Richardson at Luna Del Noche. We wanted to do something holiday-ish as well, so we headed over to Santa's Village. I think everyone else in the Metroplex had the same idea, because it was PACKED! (Stephen don’t give up on me, I promise to find a less crowded activity next time!) :) It was a PRECIOUS set-up with little houses and lights everywhere. Inside the "gingerbread" houses there was many activities for the kids to do. Some of them included: making cookies, decorating ornaments, dressing up, petting animals and even visiting Santa's workshop. Well, we go there too late and most of the lines for the houses were way too long, including Santa's. I tried to get in line, but they had already closed it down so Santa could leave at 9:00 p.m. I felt bad because we kept telling Logan that we were going to see Santa that day and it didn't happen. We were out Christmas shopping at the mall earlier and the line for Santa was ridiculously long there too. Poor Logan had to settle for a petting zoo and a Richardson Fire Department mascot. But, of course Logan didn't mind and loved his new Dalmatian friend. I practically had to pull him off of the dog, so we could leave. Spencer enjoyed all of the lights and just being outside. He was so GOOD that night, even though it was way past his bottle and bedtime. He is the best tempered baby ever! I think next time we will have to go a little earlier, so we can beat the crowds or maybe on a Sunday night. (It is only open Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights.) Thank you Brad and Kat for going with us and being such good sports! I know it was a “kiddie” activity, but we always love being with ya'll! (We can't wait for New Year's!) Fun! Fun! :)
