Christmas 2008

Getting ready to go to Christmas Eve service at church!

Feeding the reindeer! :)

Poor baby didn't feel that well, but was still in a great mood!

Playing with Spencer's gifts!
He loved his new tent and drives his train all over the house!! Choo! Choo!
Logan loved opening his gifts!
Santa brought Logan an umbrella in his stocking and I think it was one of his favorite gifts!

Playing in the Thomas tent!

I can't believe Christmas has already come and gone. It seems like we anticipate and plan for it for so long and then it is all over so quickly. Our Christmas break has been great, but not that relaxing. Spencer and Logan have been sick for most of it, which means a very tired mama! But, it was very special because it was Spencer's First Christmas and Logan was so much fun this year. He really got into the whole Santa thing and loved opening his gifts this year. He was so particular when opening his gifts and had to make sure every piece of paper was off of it, before he could enjoy the present. And, his reactions to the gifts were priceless, which made it all so worth it! We also had Christmas with our families 5 different times, which meant the boys didn't lack in the present opening department! :) Let's just say, I need to clean up the playroom, to fit all of their new toys! Our families are so good to us and we are so thankful & blessed. And, because of Stephen's work schedule, we spent Christmas Eve and Christmas morning just the four of us. On Christmas Eve, we ate Chili's and went to service at our church. When we got home from church, the boys opened one present, left Santa & his reindeer some food and headed off to bed so Santa could come. Stephen and I stayed up quite a bit longer, to get everything prepared for Christmas morning! :) The only presents Logan asked for from Santa was three different trains to add to his Thomas collection, (Henry, Gordan and James.) We did the big train Christmas last year, when he got his table and track. This year, we were just trying to add to it, since it is all so expensive!! And, it was so awesome to see Logan get so excited on Christmas morning that Santa actually kept his promise and brought him his trains! Santa, also left him a few other goodies too and his favorites included: his "Cars" umbrella, a Thomas tent, a train floor mat, a Play-Doh table and some DVD's. He is also still little enough, that he enjoyed Spencer's gifts as well! Kids sure to make Christmas more fun and magical! We had a wonderful Christmas and shared some very sweet memories together!! I will post some more pictures from our other 4 Christmases later! :)

Enjoyed these photos so much. Us older Mothers love to see young families at Christmas. Brings back such good memories. You are so lucky to live in an age where you can make digital scrapbooks like this blog.

Hope everyone is well. Be sure to update us on the results from Spencer's doctor visit.
