We had a very wonderful/relaxing Halloween yesterday. The festivities started on Thursday night, when Logan prepared little goodies for his friends at school. He really was involved in the whole process and stuffed all the candy into the plastic pumpkins himself. He also told me as we were making them, which friends he was giving them to. This Halloween has been so much fun, because he has understood everything a little better than last. The morning started off a little hectic, since I was dressing up for our annual Fairy Tale Ball at school. You should have seen Logan's face when I woke him up dressed in a long black dress, with my fake hair and a tiara on. He said "mommy's pretty!" followed by him trying to tear my tiara off my head to wear it! :) I reminded him that he was going to be a fireman, not a princess! ;) Although it was easy to get them out the door that morning, because they were having Halloween pj day at school and I dressed them the night before. :) Logan ended up having a great day at daycare with lots of activities that included: a picnic, watching Thomas's Halloween, making candy apples, peanut butter popcorn balls and eating tons of candy that his friends had brought him. Let's just say that he was WIRED by the time he got home and mommy was exhausted from all the excitement at school that day. I was very glad that Papa Don and Grammy were coming over to play and help with the kiddos. Stephen had made a crock pot soup and Grammy brought over homemade cornbread, so I was excited about dinner. We ate, trick or treated, handed out candy and just hung out! Logan loved knocking on the doors of the houses and wasn't even scared of the peoples spooky costumes. It was a beautiful night to walk the neighborhood and Papa Don did most of the trick or treating with Logan. The only problem was that Spencer wanted to be carried the whole time, so we all switched off with him. I think he was just getting tired and was mad that he wasn't getting any candy! :) Even though he was a grumpy puppy, people still stopped to admire how cute he looked! I just love this time of year and look forward to the holidays that follow. I can't believe Christmas is around the corner! Yikes, I need to start thinking about Christmas shopping!! :) Anyway, I hope everybody had a very Happy Halloween!! XOXO!!
