Trunk or Treat!

We had a very busy and hectic weekend, but it turned out we had some fun too! I spent most of Saturday at a training, followed by taking Spencer to an urgent care facility. Long story short, he has had an infection on his diaper area that has gotten worse this weekend. I ended up taking him to Acute Kids and they got him all fixed up and on an antibiotic. Then, Saturday Logan and I headed to one of my best friends house for a kiddie Halloween party. Logan had a lot of fun and enjoyed dressing up in his costume, playing with the kids and eating lots of goodies. I didn't take any pictures over there because I had a massive headache from the day I had been having! :) I wish I would have because Cara put on quite a little party and the decorations were SO cute!! And, today we got to share in some more Halloween festivities at Papa Don and Paula's church Trunk or Treat. I was worried the boys costumes would be a little hot, but the weather turned pretty cool, which was perfect! As you can see Logan was a fireman and Spencer was his Dalmatian. It isn't a real Dalmatian costume, but I thought it was pretty close and less expensive! This was the first year Logan has really understood the whole dressing up thing and was excited to wear his costume. He had so much fun telling everyone all night that he was a "fireman!" He also loved singing/dancing with the band and of course the trick or treating! It was so cute because he went to the first "trunk" and a lady handed him some M&M's. He was so excited about getting some candy, that he was ready for me to open them and be finished. But, after Grammy showed him there were more cars and candy, he got right into the swing of things. He will be a little pro come Halloween night! :) Spencer of course was such a little doll and was in an excellent mood! He enjoyed people watching and being outside in the beautiful weather. It is just so exciting for me to share these fun times with my sweet baby boys and watch them experience new things!! Such sweet memories!! :)

Sounds like you are one busy, busy mom!! Poor Spencer -- I bet he was miserable with his infection. They look adorable in their costumes. Stephen looks like he is having fun also. Happy Halloween to you all. Love, CD
