Summer Vacation

This past week my mom, Logan and I drove to San Antonio to pick up my niece for a little vacation. My sweet Aunt Barbara and Cousin Sarah watched Spencer all week in Austin for me, while we went on our trip. I thought it would be way too hot at Sea World for baby Spence, so he didn't go with us. And, Spencer didn't mind a bit, since he was spoiled like crazy staying with them. They said Spencer was such a great baby and slept every night from 9:00 until 8:30 in the morning. Spencer even got to watch Hannah Montana for the first time with his cousin. :) Thank you guys for taking care and loving my little guy all week!!

So, after we dropped off Spencer we headed to pick up Lauren and take her to the Embassy Suites with us. Poor Raia didn't get to go, because her vacation is going on an Alaskan cruise with grandpa and grandma in July. (Personally I think she got the better end of the deal.) :)
Anyway, we had a wonderful trip to San Antonio, except for the fact Logan got a little stomach bug at the beginning of the trip. It was really not that bad and he started feeling much better by the time we went to Sea World on Thursday. Some other fun things we did in San Antonio included: riding the train, going to the zoo, eating at the Alamo Cafe, playing miniature golf, swimming at the hotel and of course Sea World. It was nice spending time with my niece, who I hardly ever get to see and having lots of one on one time with my little guy. Of course my mom and I were EXHAUSTED by the end of the trip, but I wouldn't change a thing. It will be a fun memory to look back on and smile at in a couple of years!! Next time we go to San Antonio hopefully daddy and Spencer can join us!!
