This past Wednesday the kids and I went down to my parents house to visit with family and celebrate Mother's Day. Stephen drove down to Killeen Friday after work to be with us. My Aunt Barbara, Cousin Lisa and Logan's second cousins Sarah and Justin came down from Austin to meet Spencer for the first time. We had a great time and even got to go to a Mother's Day Luncheon on Saturday. It was really for girls only, but Spencer had to make his appearance to all my moms friends. We told him it was the last time he had to go. Next year he can stay with daddy, grandpa and Logan! :) On Sunday morning Stephen gave me a shirt that said "Super Mom" and gave the boy's a shirt that said "My Mom is Hot." He told me I had one more present at home and that I would have to wait. I wondered all the way back to Dallas what it could be that he couldn't bring with him. I never would have guessed his wonderful surprise in a MILLION years. When I walked in I started scoping out the place and then walked into our bathroom to see that he had installed a brand new marble walk in shower. We had one that was smaller and all tile, but it was getting a little rough looking. Although, I never knew we were going to replace it. I would have posted pictures of it, but the glass and shower head is not on it yet. We stayed at a Westin a few months ago and I loved their shower head. He was so sweet to remember that and ordered one just like it from the Westin's website. I am so excited!! Thank you Stephen for such a wonderful Mother's Day present!! You constantly amaze me at how thoughtful you are to me!! I love you so much!! Also, thank you for putting up with me yesterday when I was so tired and emotional. :) (I think I am having a little postpartum blues, but I am OK.)
Also, thank you mom for being such an awesome mother to me over the years! I don't know what I would do without you. Your love and support mean the world to me and I wish everyone could have a mom like you!! Also, thank you for helping me so much with the boys. You are such an amazing role model and the kind of mom I want to be to my boys. Love you tons!!
I didn't get the chance to hang out with Stephen's mom yesterday, but he was able to have lunch with her on Friday. Happy Mother's Day Nancy, hope your day was relaxing and special. I love you so much and cherish our wonderful relationship. Thank you for raising such a wonderful man for me to spend my life with. You know I will need all the advice I can get having two boys myself!! :) See you soon!!
And, Happy Mother's Day to all my friends who have babies!! I love that I can share all my joy and tears with you girls!! You guys are incredible mother's and I love you!

Jodi,I'm glad you had a nice visit with all your family. Logan looks so cute in his "hot mom" t-shirt and Spencer is a chunk. I miss them a lot and can't wait to see them.

Hey darling - I'm so glad you are feeling better today. Sometimes a little help is what we all need.
I pray that your days going back to school will be great. See you all soon. Love Mom
