Welcome Baby Spencer!

Last Thursday April 3, 2008 we welcomed our second baby boy into our family. His name is Spencer Russell Kleppe and he weighed 8 lbs 3.9 oz at birth. I went into the hospital at 7:30 Thursday morning to be induced and he was born at 12:52 p.m. It was a fast labor and delivery and we feel so blessed that he is healthy and doing so well. I don't know if you can tell in the pictures, but he has some light brown hair, which is total opposite of his brother. Logan was mostly bald with a little white fuzz when he was born. Stephen's mom said that he had dark hair when he was born too and then it fell out and turned blond. So, I guess we will have to wait and see how Spencer's turns out as he grows. We have had a pretty exhausting time since we have been home, since Spence has had his nights and days mixed up. But, I know it will get better, so we will just take one day at a time. My mom has been here, which has helped A LOT and she gives me lots of naps in the day and has even helped out at night some too. Thanks mom, I love you and appreciate you so much!! Logan has had some adjusting to do in this process as well. He was very jealous at first and didn't want anything to do with the baby or me. He is getting much better and will even give the baby a kiss now. I guess with him being only two, it is hard for him to understand it all. I know as Spencer gets older, they will have lots of fun together and I can't wait for that. Thank you all for keeping us in your prayers during this time. And, thank you for being patient with me in blogging pictures. Like I said before, any free time I have is spent sleeping!! I will post more pictures very soon!!
