As most of you know it snowed 7 to 8 inches here last Thursday and it was BEAUTIFUL!! It is so crazy how it can be 70 degrees one day and then 30 degrees and snowing the next. I guess that's Texas weather for you! :) Well, the picture of Logan above is not from Thursday, it is actually from Tuesday morning when it snowed a little bit at the beginning of the week. It started snowing on Monday night and I was so disappointed that Logan wasn't able to see it because he was already asleep. So, on Tuesday morning I wanted him to experience it before I rushed him to Mary Beth's house. Long story short, I pressured him to touch and stand in the snow with no coat, hat or gloves on and still in his pajamas. Probably not the best way to introduce him to something foreign and cold, but I didn't think it was going to snow again this year and I knew it would melt before he had the opportunity to play in it. Well, that was a horrible mistake because he did not like it the way I thought he would and he didn't want to step foot out in the snow when it really came down on Thursday. I kept asking him if he wanted to get dressed and play in the snow but he wasn't having anything to do with it. So, on our day off on Friday I had to entertain him all day inside. He enjoyed his craft time much better and played with Play-Doh for a good 45 minutes. I guess we will have to try again next year dressed a little more appropriately! :)

Well, it looks like you had a fun snow day anyway! We'll be better prepared next year! I love you, Logan!
Looks like Logan might have more fun indoors than outdoors in freezing weather. I hope I like the snow in the mountains.

Logan, Lauren says you are playing play-doh and painting "you're real busy" We have to look at this everytime we come by the computer
