Happy Birthday Stephen!

Today is Stephen's 29th birthday and what a morning it has been! Logan woke up bright and early this morning, which was a good thing because it gave me time to make Stephen some breakfast before he left for work. Well, my plan was to make him breakfast and surprise him in bed with his food and present, but it didn't turn out quite like that. While I was busy making breakfast for Stephen I wasn't paying attention to Logan who was finishing up his plate. For some reason I served Logan his pancakes and blueberries on a glass plate. I know, I know not so smart! Well, I guess he was trying to tell me he was done and I wasn't watching, so he threw his plate on the ground. It made the loudest noise ever as it hit the tile floor. Poor Stephen was startled out of bed from the bang of the plate and the scream of Logan's cry. So, the surprise breakfast was ruined at that point. Although, Stephen did enjoy eating his breakfast burrito on the couch! :) After that we gave Stephen his birthday presents. He is getting himself some new golf clubs for his birthday, so I had to think of something small I could give him along with that. So, Logan and I went last night and picked out some really cute bathing suits for him. We are going on a cruise in a few weeks, so he really needed some new ones badly! Logan enjoyed helping his daddy open the presents and stole his tissue paper and bag away immediately! It was so cute, he threw it over his shoulder and said "bye, bye" and toddled away! He also played a game of putting the bag on his head and taking it off for a least 20 minutes. I tried to take it from him because he would walk around with it on his head running into everything. He didn't care, he just laughed and kept on doing it. He is such a silly little boy!
Well, tonight we are going over to some friends house to continue celebrating Stephen's birthday. Hope it goes a little more smoothly than this morning! Oh, I was going to take pictures but to add to the morning, my battery died as soon as I started taking pics. Go figure! :)
