Happy Birthday my sweet angel boy! Logan Miller Kleppe arrived on February 28th, 2006 at 12:43 p.m., weighing 7lbs. He didn't seem premature by his size, but his little lungs weren't fully developed yet. He stayed in the NICU for a little over a week, while we visited him every few hours. It was a little scary and hard at first, but we managed to make it through. I knew that God was in control the whole time and everything would be ok. This last year has been the most rewarding experience of my life. Logan has changed our lives for the better and we couldn't picture ourselves without him. He truly is a joy and blessing from God. I can't believe how much he has grown and how fast it goes! Happy Birthday Little Man!

That first picture brought tears to my eyes - I hadn't looked at it in a while. Those early hours were especially scary - not the script I had written for my grandson. However, we did get through it and Logan doesn't even remember it. And we are truly blessed. You forget how much they grow and change in that first year. We'll be looking forward to all the changes in the second year - he'll soon be able to go to work with Grandpa!

It is hard to believe it has been a year! That night was such a long night for your mom and dad. I remember staring at your little monitor for hours.
