Alvin and the Chipmunks

Logan has been OBSESSED with Alvin And The Chipmunks, since he saw the previews for the "Squeakuel," over Christmas. He kept walking around the house saying it was his" FAVORITE movie EVER" ,(wonder where he gets that phrase from!!!) :) He did see the original movie a long time ago when we rented it, but he really was too young and could have cared less about watching it. Well, my friend and I took him to see the movie over break and he loved it!! He watched the whole movie and was glued to the screen the whole time. He was so cute because he even laughed at the jokes and danced to the songs. Well, then we went to Mc Donald's one day in January and found out that the toys in the Happy Meals where the Chipmunk Collectibles. He was thrilled and from that day on it became his (and mommy's) mission to collect all six figurines (the Chipmunks & the Chipettes!) With the help of going to a lot of different Mc Donald's during the next couple of weeks and bribing two kids in my classroom, we finally got all six of them!! They are really cute and they each say a fun phrase when you push their buttons. They are the first Mc Donald's toys we actually haven't lost or thrown away! :)
Well, last night when daddy had to run to Wal-Mart, he stopped by Blockbuster and picked up the original Chipmunk movie for the boys to watch. Logan was so happy about the special surprise and even more thrilled to be having movie & popcorn night in the middle of the week! I captured pictures of my popcorn monsters in action!! As you can tell, Spencer is more interested in the popcorn than the movie!! :) And, they both actually ate the ENTIRE bowl themselves!! (It scares me to think of my grocery bill when these two are teenagers!!) :) Logan of course enjoyed the movie and loves his new little friends even more after last night, (he was funny because he wouldn't let me set the Chipettes out on the table because they weren't in this movie!!) Good Times!!
