Last Wednesday we traveled by airplane to visit my parents in Cloudcroft for Thanksgiving. The boys have been on a airplane a couple of times and they are fairly good travelers. They love being at the airport watching the planes fly in and out and watching the men load all of the baggage. Logan has a better understanding of everything and has even become a pro through security. He whips his shoes off and helps the workers with the buckets. Spencer on the other hand has become quite the runner these days and even escaped security while we were waiting to go through. I literally didn't know what to do when he ran under the ropes and past the security people. They kept yelling at me to stay back while they got him, which was a bit stressful! He is just at the age where he wants to be let loose, which isn't the best in a airport situation. Once we got on the plane on the way to El Paso, I had to keep them pretty entertained. I brought a box of traveling Dupo Lego's, a Mickey Mouse mini puzzle, books, candy, colors and more! Logan also enjoyed getting a Dr. Pepper on the plane ride, which is a big treat for him. The flight back wasn't as bad because we left later in the day and the boys were tired. Spencer laid on his daddy most of the ride and Logan stayed pretty content eating his Rolo's and drinking his Dr. P. The only funny/stressful part of the ride home was when the pilot asked the flight attendants to prepare for the landing and Logan announces to everyone he had to go "pee pee and poo poo!" :) I thought I might have to whip out one of Spencer's diapers, but he ended up making it until we got off the plane! Let's just say I was a BIT nervous for those 10 minutes unti we pulled into the terminal! :)
