Why on earth do we buy our kids toys, when they are amused by the smallest things?? While we were in New Mexico, we forgot to check our car seat back on the plane, (oops!) And, my parents were sweet enough to ship it back to us for a "small" price (thank you!!) :) Well, Logan and Spencer were so excited about the big brown box that was waiting for us on our front porch the other day. They didn't care what was inside of it, but wanted to play with it immediately. I seriously couldn't rip into it fast enough, before they stole it away from me. It has been their favorite toy/form of entertainment all week. They have made it into a fort, tunnel, slide, storage box, bed, table, etc. Logan will pile every toy and blanket we own into that box and play for hours at a time in it. I finally cleaned it out yesterday because it is almost time to retire it to the trash tomorrow. Logan saw it out in our garage today and begged me to bring it back in. So, who knows if I will get my way and be able to throw it away tomorrow. It might have to mysteriously disappear during bedtime tonight!! Thanks again mom and dad for sending back our seat and giving the boys the best gift of all!! They have enjoyed it, but mommy is tired of looking at it! They will just have to wait until the next box gets delivered to our house!!

How precious - it makes me want to send an empty box! These pics are priceless. Grandma
hey jo
that is really cute!!!
But aren't empty boxes these best toys? Look how creative they are being -- using their minds!! :) cd
Oh the fun they can have with a box!!! We got a new washing machine about a year ago and I swear we kept the box in our living room for like 6 months because Kari played in it everyday...she even had it decorated!! There were many tears the day I tore it down and took it out to the trash because I was so sick of having a huge box in the middle of my living room :)
Maybe Santa can give them a big box for Christmas. :)
