Safety First

We are close to transitioning Logan to a big boy bike with training wheels this summer. We went to look at them at Wal-Mart the other night, but they didn't have the bike we wanted in stock, (plus we were grocery shopping and didn't want to buy it right then.) Well, while we were over in the bike section Stephen and Logan spotted the helmets and elbow pads. We decided that Logan needed a helmet, since we were going to be buying him a bike real soon. We decided we could at least get him the helmet now, so he could get used to wearing it on his tricycle. Of course, Logan had to have the "Cars" bike helmet and wouldn't be talked into anything else. And, when we got home he wanted to try out his new gear immediately! Spencer had to be apart of the action as well and rode on his "bike" too! He is always wanting to do what his big brother does!!
So, when Logan finally gets his big boy bike, he will have the bike safety thing down. And, Spencer will be wanting to upgrade to the tricycle! :)

How cute -- they play so well together. Big boy bike - wow - does not seem possible. Wish Megan had a full face helmet when you two went riding and she crashed over the top of her handlebars - remember? She still has the stitches scar on her chin!! CD

We are getting Emory a "big girl" bike this summer too. We should take them to the park to ride together. We might have to jog to keep up!
