Crazy Busy Week!

Sweet boy getting ready for his tubes!
Waiting with Grandma to be called back for surgery!
It has been a very crazy and stressful last couple of weeks! Which, is the reason I have lacked in the blogging department! I don't know if you saw in the news, but a baby died at an in-home daycare facility in Denton two Wednesdays ago. The home was actually next to the one Spencer went to. It was a very tragic and SAD situation for everyone involved. The death had nothing to do with the sitters, but the state was investigating that in-home daycare as well as Spencer's because of some allegations. Of course, none of this had to do with Spencer's daycare, but they seemed to be dragged into everything because they lived next door and were friends. So, last Saturday we got a call from our sitter saying that she couldn't handle what the situation was doing to her family and they wouldn't be watching kids anymore. I was devastated with the news because I LOVED Spencer's daycare and he had been going there since he was 4 months old. They were a wonderful husband and wife couple who were amazing at what they did. They loved and cared for Spencer so much and Spencer adored them. They have been watching kids in their home for over 8 years and I was so sad that everything ended like this for them. Plus, it was so short notice and I was in a panic to find childcare for Spencer. I called my mom as soon as I found out, to see if she could come and stay while I found a good daycare. Of course, she said yes and was up here by Monday morning. (Let me just say that my mother is AMAZING and is ALWAYS there when I need her!! Thank you mom, you were such a Godsend this past week. I love you!!) And, it was great that she was here because I was a MESS all week. I was so stressed out trying to find the perfect place for Spencer and mourning the loss of our old sitters!! It is not easy finding infant care in this area, especially when a lot of other people who lost sitters were looking for care too! I looked at a couple corporate "big" daycare centers that were expensive, but not appealing to me. I guess I am super picky!! Also, I was waiting to hear if the district had an infant spot available in our new district employee daycare. But, I found out on Monday that they didn't, which made me even more depressed. (I think I was counting on that option.) Well, I was at school on Tuesday and a teacher brought up that her grandson went to the United Methodist daycare program and that they really loved it. I told her I didn't try calling there because I heard there was a waiting list to get into the program. Well, she told me it wouldn't hurt to call, so I did. It was about 11:00 a.m. and my kids were at lunch, so I called to check it out. The director said they actually had one opening in the whole school and it was in the infant room. But, that 3 other people had looked at the same opening earlier that morning and that it was first come first serve. My principal knew my situation and was very understanding when I told her I needed to leave school for a little while to go and enroll Spencer. I had know idea what the place looked like, but was hoping it was great. And, I was right!! The moment I walked in the building, I knew it was where Spencer needed to be! The people were so warm & friendly and the ladies in Spencer's classroom seemed so nurturing. There is like 4 women to 8 babies, which is great!! I feel that God opened these doors for us and everything worked out so perfectly!! Isn't God so good??!! And, the funny thing is, that by the end of the week the district had a last minute opening in there infant room too!! So, I had two options to choose from, but decided that the church is better for us this year! So, Spencer starts on Monday and I am just so happy I found a good place for him! I will let you know how it goes!! :)
Another reason it was so great that my mom was here this week, was that Spencer had tubes put in on Friday. He had been having tons of ear infections and I decided it was time for tubes. Logan had them put in when he was a little over a year and it was awesome because he was no longer in pain. It made such a difference in him, that I was excited to do the same thing for Spencer. Stephen didn't go with us this time because I needed him to take care of Logan. So me and my mom left the house about 6:00 a.m., so we could check in at the Plano Surgery center at 6:45. The tube surgery is literally the quickest surgery I have ever seen. The nurse took him back at 8:00 and they handed him to us at 8:15. Although, it was sad to see him recover from anesthesia because he didn't know where he was and he just cried for like 15 minutes straight. Poor thing was starving and we weren't allowed to give him anything but juice until we got home. But, he did finally calm down and we made it home for a warm formula bottle and a two hour nap! He was exhausted and wasn't feeling well when we got home, but was back to is old self by around lunch time! I am just glad it is all over and am ready to start a fresh new week!! Hopefully I will take some pictures and blog some more real soon too!! :)

When taking motion and sports photographs, usually include a point of guide. The measures will shed significance if it is not proven in context. By way of example, somebody snowboarding will show up considerably more outstanding should you feature an tremendous bank of snowfall in the image, or maybe you show the ground significantly under him because he flies from the air. Usually do not continue a spending spree simply because there is a new card by using a zero harmony available to you. This is simply not cost-free cash, it really is dollars that you could eventually have to pay back and going overboard with the purchases will only turn out negatively affecting you in the long term.
