Today Stephen and I are celebrating our 7th wedding anniversary. Some people thought we were crazy having a wedding so close to Christmas, but it worked out perfectly for us. Stephen proposed on Valentine's Day 2001 and we were then married 10 months later. My dad said I had to wait until after I graduated from college, which was the Saturday before we got married. I guess you could say I wanted to get married pretty badly! :) Plus, our wedding was so beautiful because it was so close to Christmas. I truly had a "winter wonderland" wedding!! Since that special day, we have shared many more wonderful memories too. In the last seven years, we have watched each other graduate from college, get our first jobs, buy our first home and have two precious little boys. It is fun to reflect back on how much we have grown over the last 7 years!! I am so blessed to have such a supportive and loving husband, who is also an amazing father. God truly answered my prayers, when he brought Stephen into my life. :)
