Not So Picture Perfect!

I had originally had big plans for our Christmas cards/family photo. I booked with one of my favorite photographers Meagan Block, a few months ago and was really excited about our session. Well, Stephen unexpectedly had to travel out of town for work, so my plans went out the window. Our next few weekends are super busy before the holiday's, so there was no way that we could book another session with her. So, instead I had one of my friends meet us out at TWU last week for a quick photo shoot. All I really wanted was a good snapshot of our family, to use to make cards. Well, when you mix a 2 year old who loves being outdoors and a sick baby, these are the pictures you get. :) Logan discovered a huge hill and wanted to roll down it the entire time. His sweater was covered in leaves and his jeans were so grass stained. I am glad we took our family shot first, because once he experienced the rolling, there was no turning back. He had a blast out there!! Now, Spencer on the other hand had an ear infection/fever and wanted nothing to do with any of it. I knew he wasn't feeling well because he is usually my little smilebox. I just thought these candid shots of the boys were so funny, yet adorable. It is amazing how much we go through, to just get a few decent photos. I am not posting the really cute ones now because I am saving them for Christmas. You will just have to check your mailbox to see those, or stay tuned to my blog in December! :)
