Yes it is true, I went to the NKOTB reunion show last night and it was the most fun I have had in a long time!! When I found out that NKOTB were reuniting and going on tour, I was super excited. My childhood friend Megan and I decided we had to get tickets and she was on the phone the day they went on sale. You have to realize that NKOTB were the first boy band that we ever knew. And, we were at the perfect pre-teen age to fall in love with these Boston boys and their pop music. We had every New Kids album, poster, t-shirt, button and snap bracelet that they made! Donnie was my favorite, Joey was Megan's and Lauren loved Jordan. (But, I have to say that Joey looked the best to me this time around!:) So, you can definitely say that we were apart of the NKOTB mania that was happening in the late 80's to early 90's! Well, last night we could barely contain our excitement as we headed to the show. We talked about maybe dressing up in our old gear, but time got away from us, so we just went in normal clothes. Although, I do wish that I would have made a New Kids shirt and got my old crimper and neon scrunchy out of storage! And, there were certainly a lot who did, including some of my friends who we met at the concert. My friends Cara and Tiffany were dressed up so cute in their leggings, t-shirts and side ponies! Tiffany's shirt said "30 and flirty with the NKOTB." And, Cara's had Team Wood on the back of her shirt and on the front it said "I've Got the Right Stuff," with an arrow pointing to her baby bump! Too creative girls!!! The age range of girls probably consisted of 25-35, but I saw some younger and older too. My ears are still ringing from all of the high pitched screaming! :) Anyway, I have to say that the boys did not let me down. They are still extremely HOT and have more energy than any 40 year old I know. The show was so entertaining and exciting the entire way through!! They were on stage a little over 2 hours and sang all of their hits and some of their new stuff. I have to be honest, I was mostly going for the old stuff, but I was REALLY liking some of their new music. A lot of people made fun of me before going to the show, but I didn't care because I knew it was going to be great! It was fun to be around girls that were die hard New Kids fans, 15 years ago too! It was not only a reunion for the New Kids, but a reunion for all of us as well! I cried a few times in the show, because the whole thing took me back to such a innocent time in my life. I felt so big and cool back then and just new I was going to marry one of the NKOTB when I was older! :) It makes me laugh to think about all of the memories I have, with my pop star crushes!! And, it was very sweet to share this concert with Megan, since we went together to see New Kids in the 6th grade too! It was such a wonderful night of singing at the top of our lungs and reminiscing old times!! After 15 years, these boys are still "Hanging Tough," and I will definitely be "Loving them Forever!"

Looks like you and Megan had a wonderful time. She said it was fantastic! I am so happy you and Megan got to go together again! I remember how excited you were the day you gave her the tickets in 6th grade!!! Seems like only yesterday.

Love it!!! I went to all of their concerts too when I was younger. I wish I would have gone this time. I couldn't find anyone to go with me. They all laughed when I said I wanted to go. Glad ya'll had a good time!!!
