Have you Seen my Potty?

I am proud to announce that Logan is fully potty trained as of yesterday! He has been tee tee trained since last Monday and has done excellent with that. But, he has been so petrified to go poo poo in the toilet, that he has gotten himself so constipated. He would tell me his stomach was hurting and I would go and sit with him while he tried to go, but it was not a success until yesterday. All last week he would cry and cry anytime I would mention sitting on the potty. So, I gave in and let him put his diaper back on to go poo poo. But, I did take the doctor's advice and dumped the poo poo into the toilet and showed him where it was supposed to go. He did like flushing it and I think it helped him to be less afraid. Well, yesterday it was just Logan and I at home, so I had more time to sit and help him with this. He told me his stomach hurt, so I put him back on the toilet with a sucker in his mouth and read him the book called "Have you Seen my Potty?" It is a really cute story for a child who is potty training. Logan was so into the story, that he didn't even notice that he was "using" the potty. We both were so excited that we were dancing and singing around the room. And, Logan was shouting "yea Logan!" He was so proud and mama was too! :) He even asked me to take a picture of his poo poo to show daddy, who wasn't home. So, of course I took a picture of him with his poo poo, but thought I better not share that picture on the blog! He will probably kill me for taking it later on, but I will remind him that at 2 1/2 that is what he wanted me to do! So, I think from this point on we are fully potty trained, except for at night. I hear that is a totally different story, since they don't realize they are doing it. So, we just use pull-ups at night and big boy underwear during the day. GO LOGAN, mommy is so PROUD!!! (Sorry if this was TMI for some of you, but I just had to share the good news!)
