I had a plan to attempt to potty train Logan this summer, since he is almost 2 1/2. I am also off work and I am home with him more often to help him. We have had a potty seat that goes on the real potty for awhile now and he hasn't been that interested in it. So, yesterday I went out and bought him his very own little potty, hoping he would feel more comfortable on it. Well, let's just say that he likes his new potty, but isn't real sure what to do on it. People who have had boys and girls have told me that boys can be a little more difficult to train. And, it is best to wait until they are fully ready, instead of killing yourself trying to make them. The age I have heard for most boys has been closer to their 3rd birthdays. So, for now we are just pretending and practicing the whole potty thing. I keep it in the bathroom and anytime he wants to take his diaper off or sit down with his clothes on, he can try and use it. I told him that once he tinkles or poo poos in it, we can dump it into the "real" potty and he can flush it himself. I think that is his favorite part of all and he pretends he has gone potty and flushes the toilet about a hundred times. Like I said, we have A LOT of work to do in this whole process. If anyone has any advice or tricks on potty training, I would love to hear them!! It might be February before I post that he has "really" used his potty for the first time, but who knows!! We will just keep practicing until then! :)

Yea Logan! We are so proud of you! Autumn is in training as well! I bet you both will be ready by the time 2 Kool 4 School comes around!
