Fun 4th!

We had a very fun and full weekend, with very few pictures taken. I know, shame on me. :) But, the good news is that Nana took some on her camera and should send me a couple later. We started our 4th at Nana's friends house, who has a pool. We splashed all morning long and had a delicious lunch with them. Nana and grandpa couldn't believe what a little fish Logan was. Of course he was making me so nervous with all of his jumping and dunking into the pool. When we were getting out of the pool, Logan decided he was going to jump back in by himself. He truly believes he can swim and is not scared of the water a bit. He is always saying "no mommy, I do it," as I am trying to pull him up for air. The boy is in desperate need for swimming lessons!!
After lunch we headed back to Nana and grandpa's house and had fun visiting with Aunt Jennifer and Uncle Jonny. We played lots of 42 and ate some yummy brisket that Nana prepared for us. Logan got a super cool present while we were there and is now the proud owner of a power wheels golf cart! It is the cutest thing ever and he absolutely LOVES it!! He drove that thing around the house all day long. At first he wasn't the best driver ever and was bumping into everything in sight. Sorry guys if your paint is chipping from the walls or your furniture is a little beaten up! :) But, as the day went on, he became a little pro at steering and putting the cart in reverse. When Nana sends pictures, I will show you what I mean! :)
And, of course the day ended with Grandpa, Stephen and I taking Logan to see his first set of Fireworks. Nana and Spencer decided to stay at home and take it easy, while watching the show on NBC! :) Logan wasn't real sure at first what the whole "fireworks" thing was all about, until it started. Then he was in complete AWE the rest of the show. When it was over he wondered where the "booms" went. :) I just love the 4th and can't wait for Spencer to participate with us next year!! It was definitely a fun 4th for our family!!
