I'M BACK

I am sorry I haven't posted in over a week or so, but I haven't felt like doing much of anything!! Not only has school started and I am EXHAUSTED from being pregnant, but I caught a stomach bug last weekend at my parents house and then got some sort of throat infection this week. I have not felt like myself at all and it takes everything I can do get out of bed and make it through the day. My poor husband, son, friends, family and co-workers have had to put up with me this past week and I want to say thank you all for being so nice to me. Plus, my poor kids at school probably think their teacher is so dull. I just haven't had any energy to be my best. Well, I was tired of feeling like I had been run over by a truck, so yesterday I sat in the Care Now waiting room for 2 hours to be seen. I was so desperate!! Well, the doctor said that I didn't have Strep, but it looked like some kind of bacteria infection, so they were going to give me some antibiotics to be sure that everything cleared up. I did call my Ob Gyn and he said the medicine was safe to take during pregnancy. I know the Care Now guy is a doctor, but I wanted to be for sure! :) Well, I woke up this morning and my throat still hurts, but I don't feel as achy and lifeless as I did before. Hallelujah!! The bad news though is that Stephen woke up feeling terrible and has a sore throat! I guess God lets us be sick in shifts, so we can take care of Logan. I think being sick and having to take care of a child is the hardest thing I have ever done in my life! Mom's jobs are never over, even when you are sick. Kids just always want and need their mommy's even when daddy's are helping. Hopefully, I can recover and get Stephen to feeling better and we can have a better week than last. I promise I will post pictures of little man very soon!
