Well, after telling my father about the situation, he told me he was going to try and find one for Logan. I wished him luck, thinking there was know way. I should have known better knowing my father, because two weeks before Christmas my mom calls to tell me that my father had TALKED his way into getting an Elmo doll from a manager at Wal-mart. They seriously had 2 locked up in the safe in the back of Wal-mart for other people, but my dad ended up getting one. We were so excited and couldn't wait to see Logan's reaction on Christmas morning!
Long story short, my mom opened all the "santa" packages and put them in a black sack for my dad to hide in our barn outside. I guess their was a miscommunication and he thought the bag was trash and not presents, so he sent them out to the dump to be burned. Well, we didn't find out what had happened until Christmas Eve. It was a disaster and my mom was so upset. Not only was Elmo TMX burned, but all of my nieces presents too. We ended up still having a few presents to give to them, so it turned out fine. It is funny looking back on the situation, because it was not the end of the world and not the worst thing that could have happened. It was just sad because my parents were so looking forward to giving them these presents.
Logan did not end up with Elmo TMX, but did get another Elmo from his cousin Sarah. I didn't realize, that their was so many different versions of Elmo. The one that he got sings
E-L-M-O to the tune of YMCA. It is hysterical and it even does the moves. We sure didn't have toys like this when we were growing up! :) Logan has ended up loving this toy and can't get enough of his Elmo. Everytime he starts to sing, Logan gets a big grin on his face and begins to dance along. Thank you Sarah, it was a great gift for Logan!
So, I guess now we will have to find the Elmo TMX again, but hopefully it won't be in such high demand this time! :)

So maybe he got just the Elmo he needed anyway. I hope he continues to develop his musical talents.
He's so talented. I love to watch him show off!
